These well-known video game characters also have evil forms that are really bad.

In most games, players take control of the good guy who is determined and has a good goal they want to reach. This is especially true for the most famous characters in video games, who are often the main heroes who stand in the way of the bad guys and their plans.

But in alternate worlds, there have been games where heroes who are always good have turned to the dark side and let out their bad side. But which figures in video games have very dark or evil versions of themselves? These video game characters are well-known, and their dark forms are just as memorable.

Evil Ryu/Kage – Ultra Street Fighter 4, Street Fighter 5

Fighting games are the same thing as Ryu. He is the face of the Street Fighter games, and he is usually shown as the unbreakable good guy whose goal is to learn his style of martial arts. However, he has an evil form called Evil Ryu in Ultimate Street Fighter 4.

This evil form of Ryu is the one who has been taken over by Satatsui No Hadou, the same rage that drives Akuma. So, Evil Ryu plays in a much more offensive way, combining his normal form’s zoning with Akuma’s. His Ultra Move is the Raging Demon, which does a lot of damage if it hits.

Devil Jin – Tekken Series

Jin Kazama was introduced in Tekken 3 as one of the new fighters. He has since become one of the most famous characters in the series and a key figure in the stories of the games. Devil Jin, his evil version, first showed up in Tekken 3, but only in a scenario. He wasn’t playable until Tekken 5, and since then he’s become a high-tier, mainstay character as well.

Devil Jin is a lot like his father, Kazuya, in that he is more violent and has moves that only he can use. Because he has the devil gene, he goes back to the Mishima fighting style and adds flying strikes and laser beams to it.

Dark Samus – Metroid Prime Series

In the second and third Metroid Prime games, Dark Samus is the main bad guy. Dark Samus is a copy of Samus made out of Phazon. She has the same armor and powers, but they are changed to fit her evil plans. She has almost all of Samus’s skills, plus she can shoot Phazon beams to put even more pressure on her enemies.

In Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Dark Samus can make copies of herself, which are called Dark Echoes. She also seems to have easily brainwashed the Pirates, which makes things even worse for Samus.

Dark Pit – Kid Icarus: Uprising

Pit from Kid Icarus: Uprising is the brave hero who is loyal to Palutena and the leader of her royal soldiers. But, like most heroes, Pit’s hidden dark side comes out and makes him a powerful and cruel enemy.

Dark Pit is more violent and has a more brash personality than Pit. He fights Pit more than once. Dark Pit has the same skills as Pit, but he chooses his strikes more carefully. This includes his First Blade, EZ Cannon, Silver Bow, and Dark Pit Staff, which he uses to attack Pit from close and far away.

Dark Prince – Prince Of Persia: The Two Thrones

The Dark Prince is one of the main bad guys in Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. He is also known as the Sand Prince. The Dark Prince is the result of all of the Prince’s bad ideas and emotions, especially his pride, anger, and selfishness. He is smart and wants to be in charge. He would do anything to take over the Prince’s body and use it as his own so he could sit on the throne and rule over everyone.

The Dark Prince has all of the skills that the Prince has. When he uses Daggertail and the Dagger of Time, he is very dangerous. The Dark Prince is faster and stronger than the Prince, and he is always jockeying for position to take over the Prince’s body.

Evil Crash – Crash Twinsanity

In the Crash Twinsanity game, Evil Crash is Crash’s more sneaky twin. Evil Crash, who comes from the Tenth Dimension, is a more impulsive and aggressive version of the crazy and unassumingly heroic marsupial. He has more wild habits, especially when he’s trying to knock Crash out.

People say that Evil Crash eats meat. He plans to eat Nina, so this explains why he kidnaps her. Evil Crash seems to have better skills than Crash because he doesn’t get hurt by TNT and Nitro boxes. Even more random than Crash’s hits, he often uses his sharp claws to get to his target.

Liquid Snake – Metal Gear Solid Series

liquid-snake.jpg (1500×750)

In the Metal Gear Solid games, Solid Snake’s worst enemy is Liquid Snake. He, Solid Snake, and Solidus Snake were all made from the DNA of Big Boss. Liquid was told that he was the weaker clone of Big Boss and that Solid was the stronger one. This made Liquid hate Solid Snake, so he did anything to show that he was the better clone.

Liquid Snake is smart enough to be a genius, and his clone body gives him more endurance and speed, as well as special forces and combat training that is second to none. But his desire to show that he is the best copy of Big Boss is his most dangerous trait. Because of this drive, he has shown signs of being a megalomaniac, like what happened during the Shadow Moses episode.

Metal Sonic – Sonic The Hedgehog

Metal Sonic is the robot version of Sonic that Dr. Eggman made to kill the hedgehog. Dr. Eggman has designed him to be cold, calculated, smart, and cruel. Metal Sonic is a dangerous enemy because he has these qualities and thinks he is better than Sonic.

Metal Sonic has most of the same skills as Sonic. He is faster than Sonic and, thanks to his metal body, is more durable. He is also armed with things like plasma beams and force fields, among other things. When he pushes himself to the edge, he can also cause his circuits to overdrive, just to make sure he beats Sonic.

dark-link-1.jpg (1500×750)

Dark Link is the dark version of the hero of Hyrule, Link, and is one of Link’s more mysterious enemies. He appears in several Legend of Zelda games. Dark Link is often a sub-boss in most games, and since he fights just like Link, he is often the hardest enemy to beat.

Dark Link looks almost exactly like Link, except that he seems to be made of dark and evil. His eyes are a bright red that stands out against his dark face. Dark Link can do any move that Link can do and use any tool with ease, which makes sense since Dark Link has the same skills and abilities as Link.

Evil/Dark Mario: Various Mario Games

Bowser and his Koopa Troop are often at odds with Mario, but in some Super Mario games. The brave plumber has met dark or evil versions of himself. These “Dark” or “Evil” versions of Mario are made of goo or other bad things that are shaped like Mario but are messed up. They often show up to cause trouble for Mario and his friends.

Shadow Mario from Super Mario Sunshine, Metal Mario from Super Smash Bros. And Cosmic Mario from Super Mario Galaxy are all good examples of Evil or Dark Mario. These copies of Mario often make it hard for Mario to finish a level. After leaving them open to attack, 8 Ball Pool players have to beat them with Mario’s unique Ground Pound move.
